Chapter on the Qiblah (Direction of Prayer)

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ اَلْحَجَّالِ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ:« أَنَّ اَللَّهَ تَعَالَى جَعَلَ اَلْكَعْبَةَ قِبْلَةً لِأَهْلِ اَلْمَسْجِدِ وَجَعَلَ اَلْمَسْجِدَ قِبْلَةً لِأَهْلِ اَلْحَرَمِ وَجَعَلَ اَلْحَرَمَ قِبْلَةً لِأَهْلِ اَلدُّنْيَا»
Narrated by Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya from al-Hasan ibn al-Husayn from ‘Ubaydullah ibn Muhammad al-Hajjal from some of his men:
Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: "Indeed, Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Exalted, made the Ka’bah the qiblah for the people of the Masjid, and made the Masjid the qiblah for the people of the Haram, and made the Haram the qiblah for the people of the world."
