And from him, from al-Nadr and Fadhala from Abdullah ibn Sinan from Hafs:
Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: “Indeed, the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, was in prayer, and beside Him صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم was al-Husayn ibn Ali عليه السلام, peace be upon him. The Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, said the Takbir, but al-Husayn عليه السلام did not follow with the Takbir. Then the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, said the Takbir again, but al-Husayn عليه السلام, peace be upon him, still did not say the Takbir. The Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, continued to say the Takbir and was helping al-Husayn عليه السلام, peace be upon him, to say the Takbir, but He عليه السلام did not do so, until the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, completed seven Takbirs, and then al-Husayn عليه السلام, peace be upon him, followed with the Takbir on the seventh.” Then Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: “(Thus) So it became a Sunnah.”
