سَعْدٌ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ اَلْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو اَلْقَاسِمِ مُعَاوِيَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي سَمَّاكٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ قَالَ لِي: فِي قُنُوتِ اَلْوَتْرِ« اَللَّهُمَّ اِغْفِرْ لَنَا وَ اِرْحَمْنَا وَ عَافِنَا وَ اُعْفُ عَنَّا فِي اَلدُّنْيَا وَ اَلْآخِرَةِ» وَ قَالَ« يُجْزِي مِنَ اَلْقُنُوتِ ثَلاَثُ تَسْبِيحَاتٍ»
Sa‘d, from Abu Ja‘far, from his father, from Abdullah ibn al-Mughirah, who said: Abu al-Qasim Mu‘awiyah narrated to me from Abu Bakr ibn Abi Sammak, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, who said:
Imam عليه السلام said to me regarding the ‘qunut’ of ‘witr’: ‘O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, forgive us, have mercy on us, grant us well-being, and pardon us in this world and the Hereafter.‘ And Imam عليه السلام said: ‘Three tasbihat suffice for qunut.”’
