Chapter on the Manner of Prayer, Explanation of the Fifty-One Rak‘ahs; The Order, Recitation, Tasbih in Bowing and Prostration, Qunut, and What is Obligatory and Recommended Therein

Al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id, from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd, from al-Halabi, from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurarah, who said: I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام about the last two rak‘ahs of Dhuhr. Imam عليه السلام said: “You glorify (‘tusabbih’), praise Allah سبحانه وتعالى (‘tuhammid’), and seek forgiveness for your sins. And if you wish, recite the Opening of the Book (‘Surat al-Fatihah’), for it is praise and supplication.”
