مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ: «أَقَلُّ مَا يُجْزِيكَ مِنَ اَلدُّعَاءِ بَعْدَ اَلْفَرِيضَةِ أَنْ تَقُولَ اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ أَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ أَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عَافِيَتَكَ فِي أُمُورِي كُلِّهَا وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ خِزْيِ اَلدُّنْيَا وَ عَذَابِ اَلْآخِرَةِ»
Muhammad ibn Ya‘qub from Ali ibn Ibrahim from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Zurarah:
Abu Ja‘far عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: “The least that suffices you from supplication after the obligatory prayer is to say: ‘O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I ask You for every good which Your knowledge encompasses, and I seek refuge in You from every evil which Your knowledge encompasses. O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I ask You for well-being in all my affairs, and I seek refuge in You from disgrace in this world and punishment in the Hereafter.’”
