Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Mahbub from Ali ibn Khalid from Ahmad ibn Al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Faddal from Amr ibn Sa‘id from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah from ‘Ammar:
Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, (was asked) regarding the man who forgets the Qunoot in the Witr prayer or in other than the Witr. Imam عليه السلام said: "There is nothing upon him." And Imam عليه السلام said: "If he remembers it while he has already moved toward the bowing (ruku‘) before placing his hands on his knees, then let him return to a standing position and recite the Qunoot, then bow. But if he has placed his hands on his knees, then let him continue in his prayer, and there is nothing upon him."
