Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Mahbub from Muhammad ibn Abi al-Suhban from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Najran from Misma‘ Abi Sayyar:
Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: “It suffices you in ‘ruku’ and ‘sujud’ to say three ‘tasbihat’, or their equivalent with calm and clear recitation (‘tarassul’). But it is of no value, nor does it hold any merit, for one to say: ‘Subh... Subh... Subh’ (in a hurried manner).”
