Ali ibn Mahziyar, from al-Hasan, from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr, from ‘Umar ibn Udhaynah, from Zurarah, from al-Fudayl, who said:
I heard Abu Ja’far عليه السلام say: "You make it up during the day as ‘witr’ as long as the sun has not passed its zenith (before Dhuhr). But once the sun has passed its zenith, then it is (made up) as pairs, two by two."
