Chapter on the Detailed Explanation of Prayer, Including the Obligatory and Recommended, and What is Permissible and Not Permissible.

Sa’d ibn Abdillah, from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Abi al-Khattab, from Muhammad ibn Isma’il ibn Buzay’ al-’Adawi, from Abu al-Hasan Abdullah ibn ‘Awn al-Shami, who said Abdullah ibn Abi Ya’fur narrated to me: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام (was asked) regarding making up the night prayer (‘salat al-layl’) and ‘witr’ that a man misses, may he make it up after the morning prayer and after ‘Asr? Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no harm in that."
