مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ اَلْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:« إِنَّ اَللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَرَضَ اَلرُّكُوعَ وَ اَلسُّجُودَ وَ اَلْقِرَاءَةُ سُنَّةٌ فَمَنْ تَرَكَ اَلْقِرَاءَةَ مُتَعَمِّداً أَعَادَ اَلصَّلاَةَ وَ مَنْ نَسِيَ اَلْقِرَاءَةَ فَقَدْ تَمَّتْ صَلاَتُهُ وَ لاَ شَيْءَ عَلَيْهِ»
Muhammad ibn Ya’qub from Muhammad ibn Isma’il from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Rib’i ibn Abdillah from Muhammad ibn Muslim from one of the two (Imams عليه السلام), peace be upon them, who said:
(Imams عليه السلام said) "Indeed, Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Mighty and Majestic, has made bowing and prostration obligatory, and the recitation is Sunnah. So whoever leaves the recitation deliberately must repeat the prayer, but whoever forgets the recitation, his prayer is valid, and there is nothing upon him."
