وَ عَنْهُ عَنِ اِبْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ نَسِيَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ فِي اَلرَّكْعَتَيْنِ اَلْأَوَّلَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ« إِنْ ذَكَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ فَلْيَجْلِسْ وَ إِنْ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ حَتَّى يَرْكَعَ فَلْيُتِمَّ اَلصَّلاَةَ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرَغَ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ وَ لْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيِ اَلسَّهْوِ»
And from him, from Ibn Abi Umayr, from Hisham ibn Salim, from Sulayman ibn Khalid, who said:
I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about a man who forgot to sit after the first two rak‘ahs. Imam عليه السلام said: "If he remembers before he bows, let him sit; but if he does not remember until after he bows, then let him complete the prayer, and when he finishes, let him give the salam and perform the two prostrations of forgetfulness (sajdatay al-sahw)."
