Muhammad ibn Yaqub from Ali ibn Ibrahim from Muhammad ibn Isa ibn Ubayd from Yunus ibn Abd al-Rahman from Ibn Muskan from Abu Basir from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him. He said:
Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “The prayer during travel is two rak’ahs, there is nothing before them nor after them, except for Maghrib. For after Maghrib, are four rak’ahs; do not leave them out whether in residence or travel. And there is no make-up upon you for the daytime prayers, but pray the night prayer and make it up (if missed).”
