Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya from al-Abbas ibn Maruf from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Talhah ibn Zayd, who said: Thawr ibn Ghaylan narrated to us from Abu Dharr, who said: (Abu Dharr said) “Indeed, your ‘imam’ (of prayer) is your intercessor before Allah سبحانه وتعالى, so do not make your intercessor someone foolish or immoral (fasiq).”
