Chapter on the Virtue of the Month of Ramadan and the Prayers Within It in Addition to the Recommended Prayers Mentioned in the Other Months

As for what was narrated by al-Husayn ibn Said from Safwan, from Ibn Muskan, from al-Halabi, who said: I asked Imam عليه السلام about the prayer in the Month of Ramadan. Imam عليه السلام said: “Thirteen rak’ahs among them, the Witr and the two rak’ahs of dawn after Fajr. That is how the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, used to pray, and I also pray in the same way. And if there had been any good in anything more than that, the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, would not have left it.”
