Chapter on the Virtue of the Month of Ramadan and the Prayers Within It in Addition to the Recommended Prayers Mentioned in the Other Months

From him, from Muhammad ibn Khalid, from Sayf ibn Umayrah, from Ishaq ibn Ammar, from Jabir ibn Abdillah who said: (Jabir said) “Verily, Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: ‘Indeed, our companions here refuse to add anything to their prayers during the Month of Ramadan, while the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, did increase in his prayer during the Month of Ramadan.’”
