Chapter on Supplication Between the Units of Prayer (Rak‘at)

And Abu Muhammad Harun ibn Musa narrated: Abu Ali Muhammad ibn Hammam narrated from Ali ibn Abdillah ibn Kushid al-Asbahani narrated from Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Muhammad (with) the same as first. “O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, to You عز وجل belongs all praise. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, there is no guide for the one You عز وجل have led astray, and no one can misguide the one You عز وجل have guided. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, there is no withholder of what You عز وجل give, and no giver of what You عز وجل withhold. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, there is no restrainer of what You عز وجل extend, and no extender of what You عز وجل restrain. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, there is no advancer of what You عز وجل delay, and no delayer of what You عز وجل advance. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, You عز وجل are the Forbearing, so do not hasten. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, You عز وجل are the Generous, so do not withhold. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, You عز وجل are the Mighty, so do not be overcome. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, You عز وجل are the Inaccessible, so none may reach You عز وجل. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, You عز وجل are the Possessor of Majesty and Honor send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم.” And supplicate with whatever you wish.
