Chapter on the Prayer of the Two Eids

From him, from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Ibn Muskan from Sulayman ibn Khalid from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام was asked regarding the Eid prayer. Imam عليه السلام said: “Say six takbirs, and bow with the seventh (takbir). Then stand for the second unit, recite, then say four takbirs, and bow with the fifth. And the sermon is after the prayer.”
