Chapter on the Prayer of the Two Eids

And from him, from Fadalah from Ibn Sinan from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: I heard Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام say: “The Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, used to wear a turban (i'timmah) on the two Eids, whether it was winter or summer, and He صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم would wear his coat of mail (dir), and likewise it is proper for the (just) imam to do so, and He صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم would recite aloud (jahr') in the prayer just as he recites aloud in the Friday prayer.”
