Chapter on the Prayer of the Two Eids

وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:« اَلْأَ كْلُ قَبْلَ اَلْخُرُوجِ يَوْمَ اَلْعِيدِ وَ إِنْ لَمْ تَأْكُلْ فَلاَ بَأْسَ»
And from him, from Uthman ibn Isa from Sama’ah from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “To eat before going out on the day of Eid is permissible and if you do not eat, there is no harm.”
