Chapter on the Prayer for Seeking Rain

Al-Husayn ibn Said from Safwan, from Abdillah ibn Bukayr, who said: I heard Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, say regarding istisqa (the prayer for seeking rain); “He prays two rak’ahs, then turns his cloak placing what is on his right side to his left, and what is on his left side to his right and he supplicates to Allah سبحانه وتعالى and seeks rain.”
