Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 3|Book 2|Chapter 1
Sa’ad, from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Safwan, from Ya‘qub ibn Shu‘ayb, who said:
I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about praying while traveling, and I am walking. Imam عليه السلام said: “Gesture (perform the prayer) with motions (ima'), and make the (gesture of) prostration (sujud) lower than the bowing (ruku‘).”
