Chapter on the Prayer over the Dead

Sa’ad ibn Abdillah, from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Yazid ibn Ishaq Sha'ir, from Harun ibn Hamzah, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “When the time of an obligatory prayer enters, begin with it before the prayer over the deceased, unless the deceased had abdominal illness (mabtun) or was a woman in postpartum bleeding (nufasa) or something like that.” (meaning to hurry and pray Salat Al Mayyit and bury such deceased with such cases)
