Chapter on the Virtue of Mosques and Prayer Within Them, and the Virtue of Congregational Prayer and Its Rulings
From him, from Uthman ibn Isa from Saeed al-A‘raj who said:
I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, about a man who comes to the prayer and does not find a place in the row. Should he stand alone until he finishes his prayer? Imam عليه السلام said: “Yes, there is no problem, he may stand beside the imam (of prayer).”
