Chapter on the Virtue of Mosques and Prayer Within Them, and the Virtue of Congregational Prayer and Its Rulings

From him, from Ali ibn al-Sindi from Hammad ibn Isa from Muawiyah ibn Wahb who said: I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, about a man who catches the end of the prayer of the imam (of prayer), while it is the beginning of the man's own prayer. And the imam (of prayer) does not give him time to recite, Should he make up the recitation at the end of his prayer? Imam عليه السلام said: “Yes”.
