Chapter on the Virtue of Mosques and Prayer Within Them, and the Virtue of Congregational Prayer and Its Rulings
From him, from Yaqub ibn Yazid, from Muhammad ibn Sinan, from Abdullah ibn Muskan, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
I said to Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام: “Does the imam (of prayer) guarantee the prayer?” Imam عليه السلام said: “No, he is not a guarantor.”
