Chapter on the Virtue of Mosques and Prayer Within Them, and the Virtue of Congregational Prayer and Its Rulings

Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya from Salamah from Sulayman ibn Sama'ah from his uncle from Imam Ja’far عليه السلام, from his father عليه السلام, from his forefathers, peace be upon them: Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “The Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, said: ‘Whoever leads a group in prayer and singles himself out in supplication has betrayed them.’”
