Chapter on the Virtue of Mosques and Prayer Within Them, and the Virtue of Congregational Prayer and Its Rulings
عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ:« سَوُّوا بَيْنَ صُفُوفِكُمْ وَ حَاذُوا بَيْنَ مَنَاكِبِكُمْ لاَ يَسْتَحْوِذُ عَلَيْكُمُ اَلشَّيْطَانُ»
From him عليه السلام, from his father عليه السلام, from his forefathers عليه السلام, peace be upon them, who said:
Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said that the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, said: “Align your rows evenly and level your shoulders with one another, so that Satan does not gain control over you.” (meaning spiritual control)
