Chapter on the Virtue of Mosques and Prayer Within Them, and the Virtue of Congregational Prayer and Its Rulings

Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali Ibrahim ibn Maymun from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: I said to Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام: “A man leads us in prayer and we follow him, is that more beloved to you, or praying in the mosque?” Imam عليه السلام said: “(Praying in) the mosque is more beloved to me.”
