Chapter on the Virtue of Mosques and Prayer Within Them, and the Virtue of Congregational Prayer and Its Rulings
Al-Husayn ibn Sa’id from al-Hasan from Zur’ah from Sama’ah who said:
It was said: “When you enter the mosque, say: ‘In the name of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. Indeed, Allah سبحانه وتعالى and His عز وجل angels send blessings upon (Prophet) Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and the family of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, And peace be upon them and the mercy of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and His عز وجل blessings. My Lord عز وجل, forgive me my sins and open for me the doors of Your grace.’ And when you leave (the mosque), say the same.”
