Chapter on Zakat of the Wealth of Children and the Insane
وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَ اَلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:» لَيْسَ فِي مَالِ اَلْيَتِيمِ زَكَاةٌ«.
And from him, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from his father and al-Husayn ibn Said, from Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, from Umar ibn Udhaynah, from Zurarah, from Abu Ja’far عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
Imam عليه السلام said: “There is no zakat in the wealth of the orphan.”
