Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 4|Book 2|Chapter 1
And from him, from Muhammad ibn Ubayd, from Abdullah ibn Musa, who said: Nasr ibn Ali narrated to us, from al-Nadr ibn Sinan, from Abu Salamah, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, from his father, who said:
The Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, said: “The month of Ramadan is a month in which Allah سبحانه وتعالى, Mighty and Majestic, has made fasting obligatory upon you. So whoever fasts it with faith and seeking reward, he exits from his sins like the day his mother gave birth to him.”
