Chapter on What Invalidates Fasting, What Impairs the Conditions of Its Obligation, and Nullifies Fasting
And from him, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Nasr, from Abu al-Hasan عليه السلام, peace be upon him:
He (narrator) asked Imam عليه السلام about ‘a man who administers an enema (yahtaqin), while he has an illness in the month of Ramadan.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “The fasting person is not permitted to administer an enema.”
