Chapter on Expiation for Intentionally Breaking the Fast of a Day from the Month of Ramadan

Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Saffar, from Muhammad ibn Isa, who said: Sulayman ibn Hafs al-Marwazi narrated to me from al-Faqih عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: Imam عليه السلام said: “When a man becomes junub in the month of Ramadan at night and does not perform ghusl until morning comes, then upon him is the fasting of two consecutive months, along with the fasting of that day, and he does not attain the merit of his day.”
