Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from Abd al-Malik ibn Utbah al-Hashimi, who said:
I (narrator) asked Abu al-Hasan عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about ‘the elderly man and the elderly woman who are too weak to fast in the month of Ramadan.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “She gives in charity, on behalf of each day, a mudd of wheat.”
