Chapter on Ruling of the Unconscious Person, the One Afflicted with Bile (Sahib al-Mirrah]) and the Insane Person Regarding Prayer and Fasting
Hammad, from Abu Kahmas, who said:
I (narrator) heard Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, when Imam عليه السلام was asked about ‘one who is unconscious, does he make up what he left of the prayer?’ Imam عليه السلام said: “As for me, my children, and my family, we do that.” – meaning make up the prayer.
