Chapter on One Who Becomes Muslim in Month of Ramadan, and the Ruling of One Who Reaches Puberty in It, and One Who Dies after Having Fasted Part of It or Not Having Fasted Anything from It

Muhammad ibn Yaqub, from a number of our companions, from Sahl ibn Ziyad, from al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Washsha, from Abu al-Hasan al-Ridha عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: I (narrator) heard Imam عليه السلام saying: “When a man dies while two consecutive months of fasting are upon him because of an illness, then upon him is that charity be given on behalf of the first month, and that the second be made up on his behalf.”
