Chapter on Ruling of the Forgetful One and the Mistaken One Regarding Fasting

Al-Husayn ibn Said narrated from Fadalah, from Aban, from Muhammad ibn Muslim and Zurarah, from Abu Ja’far عليه السلام, peace be upon him: Imam عليه السلام was asked whether the fasting person may have physical contact or kiss in the month of Ramadan. Imam عليه السلام said: “I fear for him, so let him keep away from that, unless he is confident that his semen (lustful desires) will not overcome him.”
