Chapter on Making Up the Month of Ramadan, and the Ruling of One Who Breaks the Fast in It Intentionally and Forgetfully, and One upon Whom Fasting Two Consecutive Months Is Obligatory and He Breaks the Fast during Them, or upon Whom There Is a Vow Regarding Fasting

And from him, from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Abi al-Khattab, from Wuhayb ibn Hafs, from Abu Basir, who said: I (narrator) said to Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: “A man fasted one day as a voluntary fast, then ate and drank forgetfully.” Imam عليه السلام said: “He should complete that day of his, and there is nothing upon him.”
