Sa’ad ibn Abdillah, from Ahmad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Faddal, from Amr ibn Said, from Musaddiq ibn Sadaqah, from Ammar ibn Musa al-Sabati, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
I (narrator) asked Imam عليه السلام about ‘a man who has days from the month of Ramadan upon him, how should he make them up?’ Imam عليه السلام said: “If he has two days upon him, then let him break the fast between them for one day. And if he has five upon him, then let him break the fast between them for some days. He does not have the right to fast more than six consecutive days. And if he has eight days or ten upon him, he should break the fast between them for one day.”
