Muhammad ibn Yaqub narrated, from a number of our companions, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Najran, from Abdullah ibn al-Mughirah, from Samaah ibn Mihran, who said:
I (narrator) asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about ‘one observing seclusion for worship (mutakif) who had intercourse with his wife.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “He is in the (same) position of one who breaks the fast for a day from the month of Ramadan.”
