I (narrator) asked Imam عليه السلام about ‘a man upon whom was the fasting of two consecutive months, but he was not able to fast, and he was not able to free a slave, and he was not able to give charity.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “Then let him fast eighteen days, three days for every ten needy persons.”
