Ali ibn Jafar, from his brother Imam Musa ibn Ja’far عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
I ask Imam عليه السلام about ‘a fasting person tasting drink or food, with its taste in his throat.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “He should not do so.” I (narrator) asked: “So if he does it, what is upon him?” Imam عليه السلام said: “There is nothing upon him, and he should not return to it.”
