Chapter on Intention of Fasting
Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 4|Book 2|Chapter 5
رُوِيَ عَنِ اَلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:» اَلْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ«.
It has been narrated from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said: “Actions are according to intentions.”
