Chapter on Merit of the Month of Ramadan

Al-Husayn ibn Said, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from Ali, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: Imam عليه السلام said: “The Torah was sent down after ‘six’ had passed from the month of Ramadan, And the Gospel was sent down after ‘twelve’ had passed from the month of Ramadan, And the Psalms were sent down after ‘eighteen’ had passed from the month of Ramadan, And the Furqan (Quran) was sent down ‘on the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr).’”
