The Continuity of the Divine Testament Since the Time of Adam
Narrated to us my father Narrated to us Abdullah bin Ja’far: Narrated to us Muhammad bin Husain from Yazid bin Ishaq Sha-ar from Harun bin Hamza Ghanwi that he said: I asked Abi Abdullah عليه السلام: “Did it become necessary after Prophet Nuh عليه السلام that there should be a person among the people, to obey whom is incumbent on them?” He replied: “It is so, but most people do not believe.”
