Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Mahbub, from Muhammad ibn Ahmad Al-Alawi, from Al-Umarki, from Ali ibn Ja’far, from his brother Imam Musa ibn Ja’far عليه السلام, who said:
I asked Imam عليه السلام about a man who had a nosebleed, then blew his nose, causing the blood to form small clots that fell into his water container. Is it permissible to perform wudu (ablution) with that water? Imam عليه السلام said: "If nothing noticeable appears in the water, then there is no harm. But if something visible is present, then do not perform wudu with it."
