Chapter on the Description of Ablution (Wudu)

وَ أَخْبَرَنِي اَلشَّيْخُ أَيَّدَهُ اَللَّهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ اَلْمَدَائِنِيِّ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ مُوسَى اَلسَّابَاطِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلرَّجُلِ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ اَلْجَنَابَةِ وَ ثَوْبُهُ قَرِيبٌ مِنْهُ فَيُصِيبُ اَلثَّوْبَ مِنَ اَلْمَاءِ اَلَّذِي يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ قَالَ «نَعَمْ لاَ بَأْسَ بِهِ».
The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, informed me from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from his father, from Saʿd ibn Abdullah, from Ahmad ibn al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Faddal, from Amr ibn Saʿid al-Madaʾini, from Musaddiq ibn Ṣadaqah, from Ammar ibn Musa al-Sabati, who said:
I asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام about a man performing Ghusl from Janabah while his garment is near him, and water from his Ghusl splashes onto the garment. Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes, there is no harm in it."
