Ali ibn Mahziyar said Ibrahim ibn Uqbah wrote to Imam عليه السلام: "We have socks and padding that are made from rabbit fur. Is it permissible to pray in rabbit fur without necessity or taqiyyah?" Imam عليه السلام, peace be upon him, wrote in reply: "Prayer in it is not permissible."
