Al-Husayn ibn Sa'id from Fadalah from Hammad ibn Uthman from Imran Al-Halabi who said:
I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about the Adhan at Fajr, whether it should be before the two rak'ahs or after them. Imam عليه السلام said: "If you are an Imam (of prayer) waiting for a congregation, then the Adhan should be before them. But if you are alone, it does not harm you whether you give the Adhan before them or after them."
