Muhammad ibn Ali, from Muhammad ibn Ahmad Al-‘Alawi, from Al-‘Amraki, from Ali ibn Ja‘far, from his brother (Imam) Musa ibn Ja‘far عليه السلام, peace be upon them both, said: I asked Imam عليه السلام about worms (maggots, parasitic worms, or decomposition worms) that fall from the toilet onto the garment, may one pray in it? Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no problem unless you see a trace (of impurity), then you must wash it."
